Once you have submitted your application, a representative from Chevy Chase will verify with your local county tax collector the current amount due for your property including penalties and interest. The representative will then contact you with a quote, typically by the next business day, and will make arrangements with you to complete the final paperwork to proceed with the loan.
Final approval usually occurs within two business days after all paperwork has been submitted. Once you have been approved, Chevy Chase Funding will payoff your current property tax bill including all penalties and interest.
